The displays throughout the store reflect traditional, modern and contemporary sensibilities and artistically showcase the range of products available.

IN A NUTSHELL: When Jackson’s, a beloved Leamington institution, was facing closure after 120 years in business, Evelin and Wayne Wharram, owners of the neighbouring Wharram’s Jewellery Store, knew they had to protect the legacy. “People were very emotionally attached to the old store,” Wayne says. “We wanted to respect that incredible feeling, and build on it with some modern twists.” The store reopened with a new look and most of the old staff – with Jackson’s traditional lines such as Royal Doulton, Waterford, Wedgwood, Denby and Noritake, along with new contemporary lines such as Lampe Berger, Outline Designs, Torre and Tagus and Vera Wang.

THE ANGLE: Jackson’s offers a “Wedding Package.” Because Wharram’s Jewellery store is located next door, Wayne and Evelin are now able to serve the bridal couple from their engagement rings through to their wedding gifts. No one else in Windsor or the county can provide this service. It’s one-stop shopping for their wedding jewelry, accessories, shower gifts, wedding gifts, as well as gifts for the bridal party. Coming this summer, Wharram’s and Jackson’s will offer a virtual inventory – an on-line bridal registry where, with a simple password, family and friends can shop on-line. As a thank you for using the store’s “Wedding Package,” the bridal couple receives one complimentary gift from their registry package.

UNIQUE: In addition to the “Wedding Package” and on-line bridal registry, Jackson’s is renowned for their elegant gift wrapping. Almost a lost art, the staff is dedicated to keeping the practice alive. Beautiful papers, hand-made bows and stunning packaging all make receiving (and giving) a gift from Jackson’s a memorable experience.
