Rob Marzilli's (RAM Contracting) pride is evident from the moment you walk through
the front door (Sunrise Window and Door Systems Inc.) of
this 6,500 sq. ft. home. You’re warmly greeted by a gas fireplace
perched in the wall of the piano bar. Straight ahead is a beautiful
double-sided fireplace that separates the kitchen from the
family room. “We always wanted that – to see a fireplace when
you open the front door,” Rob says The home is splashed with two-tone neutrals, heated limestone
flooring by Hydronic Comfort Systems Inc. and painted with Revere
Pewter by Benjamin Moore. Fresh flower arrangements by Jennifer’s
Flowers make each space more vibrant.
The only room with wallpaper is the powder room, done by Metro
Wallcoverings, using their Ostrich design.
A rounded archway catches your eye as you make your way into the
home, passing the dining room and piano bar on the right and Rob’s office
and a grand staircase, on the left. Acting as the pathway to the kitchen and
family room, the unique shape and wainscoting make this an interesting
feature. “You want to use that as a focal point,” Rob says, noting if all
doorways were designed alike, your eye wouldn’t be attracted to one place.
All interior doors and trim in the Marzilli home are from Canawood Inc.
