Excerpt from story:
Jason and Michelle Rosewell came back to settle down.
Originally from Parry Sound, they had lived in Indiana for four years and travelled North America while Jason played drums for the pop-rock band Red Umbrella. Their first son, Aiden, was born while the couple lived in Indiana. Their second son, Carson, arrived shortly after they moved back to Canada. "We have lots of family here and after being away for that length of time it was important to us that the boys be able to see their family," says Jason, who now owns and operates Linkhouse Media, a web development company. "Parry Sound also just feels the most like home."
The couple recently bought and moved into their first home in the Silver Birch Condominiums, built by Distler Construction Ltd. Their three-bedroom, ground-floor suite has ample space for their small, but growing family. The home has nearly-nine-foot ceilings, wide hallways and an open concept living area where the little boys can run and play. Jason says they hadn't planned on buying a condo, but seeing Distler's plans convinced them it was the better way to go. "When we were able to sit down and look at what they were offering, compared to what else was on the market, at a similar price point, it just made sense," says Jason, who admits to being more handsome than handy. "Buying a fixer-upper for the same price as a brand new condominium wasn't appealing to us."
