OUR HOMES Magazine Online Edition: Winter 2009

It's hard to believe, but winter is here again!

This winter, OUR HOMES takes you into some spectacular homes, designed and built by people who live and work right here in our amazing area.

For our Home and Builder feature, the Thornton family welcomed OUR HOMES into their home. This wonderful place, located in a vibrant community, was built by local builder and area resident Wayne Cripps of Cripps Contracting.

Our Feature Home is a must see. Katie and Curtis Moore have taken a rustic log home and given it a modern look. They did most of the work themselves. It will not disappoint and we are sure it will ignite your imagination as you decorate your home or cottage.

Many talented people find their inspiration in Parry Sound, Muskoka and the Haliburton region. It was during our travels through our unique and beautiful area that we found Ingrid Zschogner of Wild Rose Designs in Rosseau – an artisan who creates pictures of children and pets in pencil, pastels and oil.

Comfort Zone introduces readers to Muskoka Furniture, a place to find heirlooms for the future with designs from the past.
