THE PLACE: Royal Oak Kitchen & Bath was born 18 years ago in owner Glen Small’s garage. What started as a hobby expanded into a 6,000 sq. ft. showroom and production shop, ideally located on Hwy. 9, between Harriston and Clifford. Being in the heart of Southwestern Ontario means the company can draw on a wide range of communities.

THE STYLE: Classy and functional.

IN A NUTSHELL: Royal Oak’s immense flexibility allows complete freedom of creativity for a truly personalized custom kitchen. There are no limits to colours, stains or wood species; this company has done it all. “We are like tour guides, because the variety is so vast,” says Small. Along with kitchens and baths, they also offer fireplace and entertainment units, walk-in closets and custom cabinetry for the home or office.

THE ANGLE: Because they are part of a small business, staff can nurture one-on-one relationships, and provide honest opinions and recommendations to best suit the client’s needs. “We spend a lot more time finding out what they want and what their needs are,” says Small. Cabinets are built on-site, allowing designers full control over the end product. Being specialized means having the necessary product knowledge to produce truly exceptional results.

THE PRODUCTS: Keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations in kitchen and bath design and décor is a priority. Most kitchens are fully equipped with soft closing doors and drawers, garbage and recycling pullouts, under, above and in-cabinet lighting, as well as organizational components to optimize storage and functionality.

UNIQUE: Their qualified staff take the time to provide a complete design service, which earns the trust and respect of the client. After designs are developed, this team collaborates with the shop staff to ensure custom details and quality are achieved. From there, the design staff serve as project managers to guarantee a smooth transition from contractor to finished product.

THE MISSION: The staff at Royal Oak Kitchen & Bath love a challenge, as well as the individuality that each client brings to a new job. Their motto is: “Together, let’s create the kitchen of your dreams.” Small boasts that, “the look of amazement when customers see their kitchen fully rendered in 3D is a very rewarding experience.” Total customer satisfaction gives their staff total job satisfaction. It’s that simple. When the client is happy, so is this staff.
