EDITORIAL Managing Editor (Moncton, NB) We are seeking a part-time Managing Editor to produce editorial for the Kent County Greater Moncton Saint John Region. YOU MUST LIVE IN THE REGION to be eligible for the position. The managing editor will be paid $2,000 per issue, based on a total of 80 hours per issue. Working with the publishers and the Editor-In-Chief, the managing editor is responsible for developing a seasonal editorial lineup, setting strict deadlines, scheduling shoots, assigning writers and photographers, writing some features, editing and proofreading copy, writing headlines and cut lines and working with clients. You MUST have a flair for home décor. •Minimum 2 years experience in writing/editorial capacity (magazine experience preferred) •Excellent research, reporting, writing and editing abilities •Strong attention to detail •Demonstrated ability to work independently •Demonstrated planning and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment •Degree or Diploma in journalism preferred.
