IN A NUTSHELL: Owner Sharon Bolton, and her husband Barry, fell in love with this old century home and its beautiful gardens on the banks of the Wye River, just south of Midland, four years ago. They decided it was the perfect place to open a home décor destination, offering furnishings, accessories and gifts for everyone. Today, Wyebridge Country Garden is a four-season shopping favourite for locals and visitors alike who know they'll discover original, top-quality merchandise at reasonable prices in a setting that is friendly and relaxing.

THE ANGLE: Here you'll find large, open rooms, beautifully staged with vignettes you can picture in your own abode. Each room in this restored home, with its original tin ceilings, contains a variety of sofas, chairs, lamps, mirrors and accessories. Sharon selects her furniture wisely and carries classic lines that are made to stand the test of time. Her accessories are unique and her store attracts clients who know they'll find something no one else has.

UNIQUE: Framed prints, quilts, lamps, mirrors, clocks and pottery. Wyebridge Country Garden is a great place to shop for yourself and others. The shop is filled with fine wares that your family and friends would love to unwrap. Sharon also carries a quality line of leather purses and offers gift cards for those who prefer the recipient choose their own gift. All purchases are gift-wrapped.

THE MISSION: Sharon sells her quality furniture at below suggested retail prices and offers quantity discounts too. The atmosphere is peaceful, soothing and relaxing, thanks to the gentle music and accommodating, friendly staff. "Our objective is to have each satisfied customer share their pleasant experience in our shop with others," Sharon says with pride.

THE PRODUCTS: You'll discover fine, made-to-order upholstered furniture from Barrymore, Perri and Rowe, along with antique reproductions from her husband's store next door. Purchase a sofa from the floor or choose a style from the catalogues and then make it your own by choosing from a large selection of on-site fabrics. "Our framed prints are also very popular," Sharon adds. "We offer quality art at reasonable prices."

FAVOURITES: Leather/wicker chairs. These chairs come in a range of styles and are handmade in Holland. Pick from an array of colours for both your wicker and your leather. Use your imagination and make a statement around your dining room table, in your living room or out on your screened-in porch. These chairs are stunning.
