Our Homes Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma magazine is seeking courteous, organized, friendly, outgoing, energetic and resourceful individuals with sales experience for the following areas: Sault Ste. Marie, Hwy 17 & Searchmont, Wawa, St. Joseph’s Island to North Shore to Espanola, & Elliot Lake areas throughout the Algoma District, to join our team of professionals.
Proven sales experience is a must; experience in advertising sales is a definite asset.
Reporting directly to the Publisher, the successful candidate will be a positive thinker who will:
Possess superior listening skills as well as written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
Be a Motivated Self Starter
Own your own reliable vehicle and a Valid Drivers Licence
Own your own fax machine
Own your own computer and possess proficient computer skills and data base management skills (Excel)
Have strong organizational and time management skills
Engage in effective networking
Grow advertising revenue through relationship selling, cold calling, new business development, and vertical markets
Compile, complete and maintain accurate client contact lists and client profiles that must be updated and submitted on a frequent basis
Have the ability to handle objections and negotiate win/win solutions
Be available during regular business hours to meet with clients
Be focused on developing and maintaining long-term business relationships
Lead the entire sales process, from initial meeting, to closing the sale and assisting in development of creative ads, client advertising campaigns, to delivery of the printed magazines & website ads to clients
Be prepared to professionally represent Our Homes magazine at all times
This exciting opportunity requires a commitment of a minimum of 15-20 hours per week for part time reps with total flexibility. Opportunity exits for lucrative income for the right, hard working, ambitious individuals.
